Why Does spore Run slow on vista... how can i fix it?

i've downloaded spore called up maxis went to the website they recommended completed all the steps they listed, and it freezes or gets all laggy and slow... how can i help to fix this (my requirements to play the game are well above the recommended setting so it ain't that)Why Does spore Run slow on vista... how can i fix it?
i'm not sure. Try to lower graphics? Or turn off your firewall(not recommended) and close extra windows. Log out of Window's messenger or whatever would help alittle.Why Does spore Run slow on vista... how can i fix it?
i have this same problem it goes so slow its not even worth playing
