I have been looking for a computer with requirements for the only two games I take seriously. However, our limited financial resources mean that I can't just buy a higher-end computer. You should get a Geforce 9800 or Geforce 250 card in the 100-150 dollar range. Try to get a computer with a good amount of RAM (2GB-4GB), and just buy a good graphics card for it. Games don't require too much RAM usually,and rely more on graphics. Make sure you have decent internal hard drive with about 500GBs -1TB for storing files/games
Try looking on Newegg.com/amazon for parts in your price range. There are plenty of tutorials on how to install parts on YouTube and other places, and generally take only about 10 minutes to install.
Usually adding custom parts to old computers, is cheeper than buying a high spec pre built one. Make sure to install virus protection. Norton and Trend Micro are cool! :)What is the cheapest computer I can find with the requirements for both LEGO Universe and Spore?
Just go to a computer repair store and ask them to build a pc for you with minimum but decent specs. This way you will save hundreds of dollars.
