Can I upgrade my computer to meet system requirements?

I just got Spore and was disappointed to discover that I can't play it ~ on my PC or Mac. I was wondering if I could upgrade either of them or if I need to buy a new PC (I think mine is 6 or 7 years old). I listed the where my computers do not meet the requirements:

----Spore Mac Requirements:

鈥?Mac OS 10.5.3 (Leopard)

鈥?ATI X1600 or NVidia 7300 GT, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100 video card

----My MacBook:

鈥?Mac OS 10.4.11 (Tiger)

鈥?Intel Integrated GMA 950 video card

----Spore PC Requirements:

鈥?Vista or XP (service pack 1)

鈥?2.0 GHz P4 processor

----My PC:

鈥?Windows XP (service pack 2)

鈥?AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3300+ (1.81 GHz)

Could you please let me know if I can upgrade either of my computers and how I would do that? Thanks in advanceCan I upgrade my computer to meet system requirements?
You could upgrade but I think its better just to buy a new computer. If your planing to upgrade your PC you will end up upgrading most of the components in the computer so just recommend you a new computer. Can I upgrade my computer to meet system requirements?
Well the answer is easy you really have to get a new one. if your computer is that old the motherboard probably isn't compatibly with the new processors or the graphic card you could easily buy a computer that has that requirements for lets say 500鈧?in europe if you from the USA probably less. Can I upgrade my computer to meet system requirements?
You can't upgrade the graphics on your MacBook, so you're out of luck there.
