Just go to Johor Bahru and 'walk' across the causeway you do need to fill up a white card and thats about it. If you are flying same thing just fill up the white card and go thru the immigration counter.

You just need a passport to come here. And the immigration card. Either take a bus or just walk across from the JB Immigration. It is quite simple.

Well you just have to fill up the 'white card' its the arrival card but we all call it white card because of the color.

Under Singapore laws, certain types of items are subject to the payment of duty before you can bring them into the country.
Dutiable Goods
Generally, there are 4 types of dutiable goods in Singapore as follows:
Intoxicating liquors, including spirits, wine, beer, ale and stout;
Tobacco, including cigarettes and cigars;
Motor spirit; and
Motor cars and motorcycles/motor scooters
Controlled Goods
Certain goods are controlled and allowed entry into Singapore only when you produce the import permit or authorization from the relevant authorities.
Prohibited Goods
The following items are NOT allowed to be imported into Singapore:
Chewing gum (except dental or nicotine gum)
Chewing tobacco and imitation tobacco products
Cigarette lighters of pistol or revolver shape
Controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
Firecrackers
Obscene articles, publications, video tapes/discs and software
Reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, laser discs, records or cassettes.
You'll need your passport and fill up the entry form aka 'white card' at the immigration check point. Unless you are a highly wanted criminal or been prohibited going to Singapore before, there is no reason you can't get into Singapore. There are some people who earn money by filling up the 'white card' on behalf of you at the Malaysia checkpoint. If you are literate, I don't think it's worth the money you are paying.
