Spore and requirements?

according to systems requirements lab, i can play spore. the bar reaches just over 3/4 the way full. but that is for minimum requirements.

i would like to know if i can play spore comfortably on high settings as recommended requirements are not mentioned.



my system is:

-AMD athlon 64 3400+ 2.19 GHz (Performance Rated at 3.40 GHz)

-512mb ram (will be 1.5 Gb ram in the next week :-) )

-windows XP

-XFX GeForce 8600 GTS



also, can someone explain what "(Performance Rated at 3.40 GHz)" means? thanks.

The performance rating is the Ghz equivalent your CPU will function at.



You should be able to run the game fairly well, but I can't say for definite on how the quality scales. But with the specs above you should be able to get pretty close if not maximum when you get the 1.5 GB RAM, as the game is procedural, most of the requirement is creating the game world and storing it, the graphics themselves aren't that advanced, so you should be okay.
